Day 1 CUSCO
Reception at the Cusco airport and lodge at Orquidea Real Hostal or
similar tourist class accommodations (*NOTE: First class or De luxe
hotels available on request). In the afternoon: Cusco City Tour from 2
pm to 6:30 pm. This tour includes the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and
the Cathedral. The tour drives along the Circunvalacion Road up to
famous fortress of Sacsahuaman, then to Q'enqo, Puca Pucara and
Tambomachay with Spanish and English speaking professional guide.
Include tourist ticket valid for the entrance to many museums and ruins
as well. Lodging at Orquidea Real.
Day 2 SACRED VALLEY TOUR (TUESDAY, THURSDAY AND SUNDAY) You will be
picked up at 8,45A.M. Full day excursion to the Urubamba Valley visiting:
The village of Pisac, a picturesque town of creole and colonial aspect
and its lndian market and craftfair. Lunch provided. In the afternoon
you will visit to the fortress of Ollantaytambo, an architectural group
that in the days of the Tahuantinsuyo empire was a gigantic agricultural,
administrative, social, religious and military complex, then the
Chincero market. At the end Return to Cusco and overnight at the hotel (B;L)
Day 3 RAFTING
Breakfast. At 09:00 hrs. we leave for Urubamba river on the Sacred
Valley of the Incas (North of Cusco), where our guide will give a
introductory chat on safety and equipment for our trip running the
Urubamba. After lunch we return back to Cusco, arriving at around 17:00
hrs. Overnight at Orquidea Real Hostal or similar (B,L)

Day 4 THROUGH 7 INKA TRAIL PREMIUM (Private Service) Departure for "Inca
Trail" the most famous trekking of South America, following Bingham's
footsteps.
Included: Bus service until Km. 82, entrance ticket to the Inca Trail,
professional English and Spanish speaking guide during all the trekking,
tents, carriers, breakfasts lunches and dinners (as explained below),
complete Machu Picchu's ruins tour, train ticket back to Cusco, look at
the Inca Trail sectional view.
KIDS under 12 years old or students -Discount $25.-usd per person.
Note: To apply to this discount it is necessary to send us your scancopy

Day 4: Pick up at your hotel. We start our trek escorted by native
"quechua"
porters going through semi-arid terrain along the Urubamba river with
magnificent views of snow capped mount Veronica, later going through
Llactapata, an ancient Inca citadel that protected the entry to two
valleys.

Day 5: Today the first part of the trek takes us to the Inca Hamlet of
Huayabamba, later going through Warmiwañuska pass (4200 Mt), known as "dead
woman's pass". (B,L,D)
Day 6: Walking on a remarkably preserved Inca Trail passing ancient
archaeological sites covered by dense jungle overgrowth, later visiting
the Phuyupatamarca (city above clouds) with spectacular view of snow
covered Andean ranges, then Wyñaywayna, probably the most spectacular
archaeological complex during the trek. (B,L,D)
Day 7: After an early breakfast we will Pass through the Inti Punku (Gate
of the Sun), we arrive to Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas, we
will take a guided tours of the citadel, then late in the afternoon
train back to Cusco, lodging at Orquidea Real Hostal. (B)
Day 8: Transfer out
Breakfast, transfer to the airport and end of our services. (B)

PARK REGULATIONS:
The Inca Trail is part of the Machu Picchu Sanctuary, a protected area
of
32,592 hectares, managed by the National Institute of Natural Resources,
INRENA. Every visitor must obey park regulations prohibiting littering,
cutting or damaging trees, removing or damaging stones of ruins and the
Trail, removing plants, killing animals, lighting open fires or camping
in the archeological sites (only authorized campsites can be used).

IMPORTANT NOTES

*Reservations need to be done two months prior to arrive to Cusco.
Nevertheless take note there is a limit of visitors per day so I suggest
you to book the trip as soon as possible to guarantee your spots.
*Remember to take your passport and your Isic Card on the inca trail
because without they you are not going to be able to do the hiking and
take only the necessary items for the trek, the rest of your luggages
you can leave it at your hotel in Cusco (most of hotels and hostals has
an storage where to keep until your return)
* Participants need to be in good physical health and condition to be
able to enjoy the Inka Trail. The trekking will be difficult if you have
not exercised regularly before your trip. To fully enjoy an Inka Trail
adventure, we advise passengers to get into an exercise program for
their own safety and enjoyment. If a passenger suffers from any medical
condition, we advise him/her to consult a physician about joining an
Inka Trail Expedition.
